Education ROI.
Show the assumptions.

Use your own costs and income assumptions. This is simple undiscounted arithmetic, not a return forecast or a recommendation to borrow or enrol.

Increment per month = education-scenario income − alternative income − additional ongoing cost. Net scenario benefit = increment × months − education cost. Simple ROI = net benefit ÷ education cost × 100. Break-even is shown only for a positive increment. The increment is assumed constant and immediate; delay, interest, inflation, taxes and non-financial value are not modelled. Do not count the same forgone income in both education cost and the baseline-income difference.
